During January we recognize Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month. On Saturday, January 25, 2025, the Broward College Chapter of Project Stay Gold, Broward College Alumni & Friends, and the Social Behavioral Sciences and Human Services Pathway are hosting the 3rd Annual 5K Walk for Awareness. This popular event brings together alumni, students, community members, faculty and staff who collectively shine a light on human trafficking and modern slavery, which are a clear and present threat in our own backyard and across our country.
