Marty earned his A.A., International Relations and Affairs from Broward College in 2012 with Highest Honors. While at BC, he excelled academically while being active in the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and student government. He continued to the University of Florida for his B.A. in International Studies and his M.A. in International Business. During his time at UF, he participated in intercollegiate boxing and became National Champion in 2016. His passion for advocacy and international trade and business motivated him to pursue his law degree from prestigious Georgetown University Law Center in 2021 followed by a Master’s in Tax Law in 2022. We are delighted that Marty has returned to Fort Lauderdale to practice with Greenberg Traurig, one of the largest firms in the country with deep roots in South Florida. A member of the Corporate Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Fort Lauderdale office, he focuses his practice on general corporate and securities law topics, including SEC reporting compliance, corporate governance, and securities offerings. Marty is valued for his experience working with publicly traded companies across a variety of industries such as telecommunications, food services, and real estate. About his time at Broward College Marty says, “Broward College is where it all began for me. My advisor believed that I could do well right after my ESL placement test. I learned tremendously from all my professors, and they each of them repeated that I could go anywhere and do anything I wanted. Thankfully, I did not know anything else, so I believed everything they said. That mindset helped me think that I belonged anywhere else. So, all that was left to do was performing, which BC prepared me for as well. I also made friends that I kept in touch and met people I continue to lean on for advice. I’m very BC Proud.”
