Five community leaders, including one Broward College graduate, were tapped as new members of the Broward College Foundation’s Board of Directors during a meeting that took place on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Reginald AndreReginald R. Andre

Mr. Andre is Chief Executive Officer of ARK Solvers, Inc. Mr. Andre has transformed ARK Solvers from being a break-fix repair shop into a leading provider of Information Technology Services and Support, meeting the needs of business in South Florida.

Since 2010, Mr. Andre has been responsible for developing ARK Solvers’ vision by coordinating administrative efforts to achieve the company’s expansion goals, new business opportunities and client fulfillment. With over 14 years of business, entrepreneurship, and technical experience his knowledge and IT expertise has been the driving force in successfully growing ARK Solvers.

Mr. Andre earned an AS Degree in Business Administration and an AS Degree in Network Service Technology at Broward College. He is also a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. Mr. Andre is a participant of local chambers, Business Network International (BNI), volunteers as a Treasurer at William H. Turner Technical High School Booster Program and other local schools, provides business advice via SCORE Miami, and takes prime interest in assisting others in any way possible.

Ginger MartinGinger Martin, CPA

Ms. Martin is President and CEO of American National Bank. Under her leadership, the Bank has received numerous awards for its financial performance and community involvement, including being rated one of the Top 200 Healthiest Banks in the U.S. in 2021 with an A+ Health & Stability Rating by DepositAccounts.com, a subsidiary of LendingTree, as well as being a 5-star rated bank by Bauer Financial. Additionally, The Commonwealth Institute named the Bank one of the “Top Women-Led Businesses” in the state of Florida for seven consecutive years and South Florida Business Journal ranked the Bank #1 among banks in South Florida that participated in PPP lending in 2020. Ms. Martin currently serves on the boards of Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Florida Bankers Association (FBA) School of Banking, FBA BancServ, Broward Workshop, National Christian Foundation of South Florida, NSU Ambassador’s Board and Tower Forum. She has previously served on the boards of the FBA, Leadership Broward Foundation, Extraordinary Women Leading Change, Executives’ Association of Fort Lauderdale, and as a former foster parent she served on the board of 4KIDS of South Florida, Inc.

Ms. Martin earned an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, a BBA in Accounting from the University of Louisiana as a Magna Cum Laude graduate and is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Martin is a graduate of Leadership Broward and Lifework Leadership and is a certified John Maxwell speaker, trainer and coach.

Ray MonteleoneRaymond Monteleone, CPA

Mr. Monteleone is President of Paladin Global Partners, a business management consulting firm, and Partner with Dannelly, Monteleone & Associates, a full-service CPA firm. Mr. Monteleone focuses on strategic management, problem-solving, mergers and acquisitions, compensation consulting, growing companies, and senior executive mentoring for clients worldwide in industries such as healthcare, high tech, manufacturing, education, financial institutions and not-for-profit organizations. He held numerous directorships such as Rexall Sundown, First American Railways, Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway, Rush Holdings, and Pointe Financial Corporation, and he currently chairs the Advisory Board of Algy Costumes and is a member of the Board for Chen, Moore & Associates, chairing the Ethics & Governance Committee.

A CPA, Mr. Monteleone was Partner/Tax Director at Arthur Young for the South Florida practice and consultant with Holland & Knight involved in strategic planning and practice development. Mr. Monteleone was Vice President of Global Corporate Development for Sensormatic Electronics Corporation and interim Chief Financial Officer. He was President of First American Railways, Chairman and Co-CEO for Loren Industries, and Deputy Commissioner, COO/CFO for the Florida Department of Education and was an officer of Laser Spine Institute.

Mr. Monteleone graduated cum laude from New York Institute of Technology, attended the Arthur Young Harvard Business School program, received his MBA from FAU. He lectures at universities and professional association seminars.

Natalie RansomNatalie L. Ransom, DNP, RN, CENP, NEA-BC

Dr. Ransom is Division Chief Nursing Executive with HCA Healthcare. Dr. Ransom leads nursing strategy and advances the practice of nursing across HCA East Florida’s 15 hospital campuses, seven free-standing emergency rooms and 12 ambulatory surgery centers. She is an accomplished leader and mentor, having demonstrated clinical and operational excellence in patient experience, clinical excellence rankings, increased nursing satisfaction and engagement and enhanced recruitment and retention strategies.

Dr. Ransom has served in various leadership roles throughout HCA Healthcare over the past 24 years including, the Chief Nursing Officer and Associate Chief Nursing Officer at MountainView Hospital, Chief Nursing Officer at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Director of Medical and Surgical Services at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. A 2011 Frist Award Winner, Dr. Ransom is also an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.

Dr. Ransom earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also Certified in Executive Nursing (CENP) and Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC).

Jessica RodriguezJessica Rodriguez

Ms. Rodriguez is a Fort Lauderdale resident with a passion for helping the community. After 15 years of experience working in the social sector, Jessica opened Cloud 9 Nonprofit Advisors with her business partner in South Carolina. Cloud 9 helps nonprofits transcend the challenges they face. Services focus on amplifying giving, strengthening teams and connecting changemakers to help nonprofits thrive. Prior to starting Cloud Nine, Rodriguez worked as a nonprofit development and marketing executive. She is also a board member of Leadership Broward.

A North Carolina native and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jessica moved to South Florida in 2009. She is married to her true companion, Mario, and mom to Emma and Mario Jr. She is a special needs advocate and was honored in 2021 by the Exceptional Theater Company as a Community Hero. Jessica loves a good challenge and to spread joy wherever she goes.
