WELCOME NEW GRADUATES
A warm welcome to the newest graduates of Broward College to the Alumni & Friends community. One thousand, three hundred and fifty students joined the ranks of the more than 1 Million Broward College alumni on December 15, 2021. We can't wait to have them participate in Broward College's Alumni & Friends webinars, events and experiences.

 Broward College President appointed Class C Director of Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has appointed Broward College President Gregory Adam Haile, J.D., as a Class C director on its board of directors, for a term that began January 1 and will run through December 31, 2023. Read More

 2022 Winter Faculty Exhibition
Alumni and Friends are invited to visit the latest show at the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery - the 2022 Winter Faculty Exhibition. This eclectic exhibit incorporates various media featuring works by Visual Arts faculty, including Rod Appleton, Doris Araujo, Roumen Boudev, Angelica Clyman, Teresa Diehl, Shady Eshghi, Georgeta Fondos, Jon Hunt, Jan Johnson, Kohl King, Catherine Leisek, Bridgit Stoffer, and Niko Yulis. The exhibition is on display from January 20 - February 16 in the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, located at Broward College's Central Campus (Bldg. 6). Read More

ALUMNI WEBINAR RECORDING NOW AVAILABLE
Now available is our Cybersecurity and Data Privacy webinar with three incredible alumni. These panelists are experts in the areas of cyber security and data privacy who shared their knowledge and lessons from the field. Some of the issues covered include best practices, multi-factor identification, the state of data privacy laws, and considerations for small business owners faced with data breaches.

In this Broward College alumni spotlight video, we hear from BC alumna and staff member, Jenny Rainey A.A. ’08. Jenny speaks about her journey as a high school graduate new to Broward College, how she learned to excel, and the lessons and training she carries with her from her student days. A Success Coach at BC, Jenny is also a social entrepreneur having launched her own faith-based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit Ladies of Alpha and Omega.

ALUMNUS PROFILED
Jimmy Camilus graduated from Broward College's paralegal program in 2015 and his accomplishments are being celebrated and profiled by the University of Miami School of Law. Camilus, a graduate of a demanding joint J.D. and LL.M degree in Taxation at Miami Law is preparing to sit for the Florida Bar exam. He will be joining the prestigious law firm Carlton Fields in its Orlando office. Camilus shares his story of hard work, focus, and perseverance, along with a shout-out to Broward College! Read More
