STUDENT & ALUMNI SUMMER DANCE BENEFIT CONCERT RAISES MORE THAN $8K
On Saturday, July 20, Broward College's Visual & Performing Arts Department hosted its 10th annual summer dance concert, "Without Limit," raising over $8,000 to support student scholarships and the dance program. This year's event marked a significant milestone, drawing more than 800 guests and receiving unprecedented community support.
Attendees enjoyed performances by 70+ talented Broward College students, alumni, and local, state, and national dance professionals. Before the show, members of the Broward College community attended a special reception, where they learned about exciting opportunities to support resources for students and programs. Photos from the reception can be viewed here.
The benefit concert offered a meaningful way for community members to get involved. Alumna Bri C. shares her experience at Broward College:

JM FAMILY ENTERPRISES: DEDICATED TO TRANSFORMING STUDENTS' LIVES
JM Family Enterprises has been a dedicated philanthropic partner of Broward College since 1994. Their latest generous gift introduces an innovative funding strategy to provide financial aid directly to students from two of their favorite charitable organizations: Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward (for members aging out of the programs) and Habitat for Humanity of Broward (for family members). This blended $500,000 grant will establish both current and endowed cost-of-attendance scholarships for these eligible students. Additionally, it will fund a full-time recruiter position for the next four years, specifically focused on enrolling students at Broward College from these two organizations. We deeply appreciate JM Family Enterprises for their continued support and commitment to empowering our community through education and opportunity.
