A Newsletter for Alumni and Friends of Broward College

MAY 2020

WELCOME TO THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF THE ALUMNI & FRIENDS NETWORK

Nancy O'Donnell-WilsonI am so proud of our Spring 2020 graduates who powered through distance learning and completed their degree or certificate programs. Broward College awarded 223 bachelor’s degrees, 2,294 associate degrees, and 1,802 technical certificates.

While we truly wish we could have celebrated their accomplishments in person, we followed the Center for Control's recommendations and canceled our commencement ceremony that was to have been held on May 5. Instead, we will be offering a virtual graduation on Saturday, June 6 at 1 p.m.

Strategic storytelling expert Andy Henriquez, author of Show Up for Your Life: 7 Principles to Living an Extraordinary Life, will be the keynote speaker. I hope you will join us and take part in what will be a remarkable event.

This unique event is sure to be most unforgettable for our graduates. You can read more about it on the Broward College Blog.
