CAREER FAIR OPPORTUNITIES

The Career Services Center at Broward College welcomed employers to our campuses during the week of October 17. More than 50 employers participated and gave alumni and students the opportunity to submit resumes, ask questions, and make connections with hiring managers. The Career Services team provided complimentary photography services for alumni and student participants to use in their professional Linkedin profiles.

Public Safety graduate Deputy Maria Ropain, ’16 returned to the Central campus in her role as a recruiter the for the Bureau of Human Resources of the Broward County Sheriff’s office. Career Fairs are held frequently on Broward College campuses, and alumni are invited and encouraged to participate, whether as job seekers or potential employers who are looking for top talent.

Interview with Faith Pinnock-Lee, Owner/CEO Credos Global Group

Alumna Faith Pinnock-Lee came to Broward College with a clear purpose: to achieve her AA in Public Administration. She achieved her degree with high honors while raising her family, inspiring some of them to call Broward College their alma mater a few years later. Her professional path of almost 30 years includes experience in police/fire sciences administration, HR management, notarial services, and professional resume writing.
