You & the Blue

Motivated by the tragic loss of their son Michael, Jr. due to an auto accident caused by an automotive technician’s decision to substitute quality parts for inferior parts on the used car he purchased that fateful day, Michael and Pam Grimmé launched the Michael J. Grimmé II Ethical Decision-Making Training at Broward College. This program endowment was established so that future generations of students have the framework to properly navigate ethical business situations. Since 2019, Mike and Pam have partnered with our transportation programs faculty to share the story of their 17-year-old son losing control of his car on I-95 to help hundreds of students each semester understand how vital ethical decision-making is and how to incorporate this into their lives as they achieve their training and enter the workforce.

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us in celebrating the educators and professors who have left an indelible mark on our journey of learning and growth.

Education has the power to transform lives, and many of us have been fortunate to encounter educators and professors who have gone above and beyond to inspire, guide, and shape our futures. Their dedication, wisdom, and passion have ignited the flames of curiosity within us and propelled us towards success.

Every gift, no matter the size, to the Faculty Empowerment Fund or to a scholarship you are passionate about makes a difference and enables us to continue fostering an environment where future generations can thrive and be inspired.

Join us in celebrating the educators who change lives and inspire greatness. Mark your calendar for November 28 and let's make Giving Tuesday 2023 a day to remember.
