Volunteers from the Office of Advancement will be on hand to check the mail and deposit yearend contributions while Broward College is closed for the Winter Break from Wednesday, December 19 through Thursday, January 1. During this season of giving, if you wish to support the college and its students, there are four convenient ways to make charitable donations:
1. We recommend you visit our secure web page and make an online donation with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card.
2. You may send a check* payable to “Broward College Foundation” to:

(Please use this address for USPS mail, as well as FedEx and UPS packages, rather than our physical location, because Broward College will be closed for Winter Break from December 19 - through January 1. Advancement staff will be on hand to answer the phones, check the mail and deposit contributions most days during this closure.)
* VERY IMPORTANT: If you plan to write a check from your IRA checkbook as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), please be aware we must receive it in time to deposit it before 12:00 noon on Monday, December 31. Otherwise, the IRS may impose a significant monetary penalty upon you.
